Wedding planning has been quite a bit busier than any of us expected, and that is why we haven't made many posts to this blog. Jigna and I are currently in Mumbai, India meeting eachother's extended families, shopping for wedding outfits, and, most importantly, eating the fine cuisine of this great country!
Over the past two days we finalized the outfits we will wear on the day of the wedding. Much to my surprise, this is a huge milestone because the outfits we wear affect several other wedding planning details. I'm afraid that is all I can say about this topic as more details are embargoed until the big day.
A few other comments about India:
- Driving here is mass chaos, and that is a major understatement. To operate a vehicle here requires special skills and attention you can't get anywhere but the streets of Mumbai.
- Some of the best food I have had was found in a booth the side of the street.
- The food just gets more and more creative with time, i.e. masala pav, sizzler, and something I have yet to try--Mexican Dosa?
